Niue Family Violence Training Programme in Manukau

A Niue Family Violence Training Programme - Koe Fakatupuolamoui he tau Magafaoa Niue - will be held in Manukau, Auckland over five full days of training between 13-21 July. Entry is open to practitioners and community leaders, including community members who may engage with Niuean families to prevent family violence.



The free programme has been designed as an informative, interactive and self-reflective training opportunity for those who are working closely with the Niuean community.


It applies a specific lens on the values and practices of people from Niue.


It will better equip training participants with an understanding of dynamics of family violence in Niuean families.


Facilitators will be Maliaga Erick and Halo Asekona.


The programme is 5 days in duration:


Day 1: Thursday 13 July


Day 2: Friday 14 July


Day 3: Saturday 15 July


Day 4: Thursday 20 July


Day 5: Friday 21 July
