Pacific Homecare wins Whanau Ora Award

Auckland-based Pacific providers of home-based healthcare services to the elderly and disabled were awarded Pasifka Futures’ Best Performing Core Whanau Ora Partner on Monday 31st of July.

Pacific Homecare received recognition from the Core Commissioning Agency among Pasifika peers of providers and leaders, Pasifika Futures, for their commitment to making a difference and their work among Pasifika families.

Workers, called navigators, work through Pacific Homecare’s Whanau Ora service with families to reach their goals.

Dealing with a family as a whole rather than with individuals, connect them with services and programmes that will help them achieve the goals they have dreamed of achieving.

The focus areas in Pacific Homecare's Whanau Ora services are:

• Lifelong learning

• Living longer, living better

• Living financially free

• Leading & caring for our families

The Pacific Homecare team:

Regina Sheck - Whanau Ora Services Coordinator- searches for partnerships that will give families confidence but also creates a network that fosters the same values held by Pacific Homecare.
